The newly renovated SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center is situated in the heart of downtown at 13 & L Street, directly across from Capitol Park and within walking distance to first-rate hotels and restaurants. The 2,190 seat performing arts center now features expanded lobbies, improved patron access, a new donor’s lounge, improved acoustics and upgraded dressing rooms. As the Sacramento Community Center Theater, it has served as host to a variety of top caliber events — from performances by Sacramento performing arts groups to national tours of singers, comedians and Broadway musicals.
When it reopens in early 2021, the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center will serve as home to season productions for Broadway Sacramento, The Sacramento Ballet, Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra and the Sacramento Speakers Series.
